No it wouldn't. Various cancers tend to appear at different age brackets. Some cancers tend to afflict the young, some middle age, some the elderly. Age is but one factor in cancer epidemiology. This study is looking explicitly at the effect of socio-economic and racial/ethnic backgrounds on cancer rates, and clearly demonstrates how this has changed over time.
