How is blockchain supposed to get rid of mortgage brokers? I don't see the connection.
Most mortgage brokers do not get paid by the client, but from the lender which ultimately is chosen by the client theirself. Blockchain or not, you can avoid their service even now if you don't want them, you can go straight to the bank or have a look on the internet.
People looking for a mortgage broker need some guidance to find a suitable loan and to help them understand and compare the different products. A good mortgage broker will save you thousands. You clearly had a bad experience. Unfortunately that happens in all professions. I always get ripped off by mechanics but doesn't mean they all take advantage of you. It's up to you to be able to find the good ones
