This is an interesting question. Manufacturing quantum chips is the logical next stage for all semi conductor chip manufacturers. There is just no other way to make more powerful chips, have to take a step into the quantum world. I have no doubt the current chip giants will all be interested. But I believe Australia is also looking to become a quantum hardware manufacturer and hoping to take at least a 5 % share in this 450 billion dollar ( this number keeps being revised upwards) space.
