Another thing with mineral exploration companies, if the type of minerals you're drilling for are out of favour, so are the shareholders who are in the mood to give you their money for C/R.
Waiting for Tenement approvals, drilling permits, can take considerable time.
Sending Kaolin of to get tested for it's quality takes time.
With new technology , sometimes creates new needs for minerals, eg. Kaolin
Not to long ago Graphite was used as a lubricant (I think) and for the pencils we used in school.
Now it's discovered they can make graphene out of it, which not to long ago didn't exsist, which opens up doors for a whole new exciting future.
Being a junior miner is not easy. A bit like starting a new business with an Idea, desire, very little funds and lack of time....robbing Peter to pay Paul, to keep the wolves away from the door...Bank.
Being in NZ, I couldn't get my entitlement of shares in ITM, which I haven't had a problem with other companies in the past
Instead I had to take cash which the company took out, With holding Tax etc, so I received only about two thirds the value of my shares, which tooks quite sometime to finally turn up. By the time I got my funds the s/p had already gone up quite a bit.
I was going to keep those shares and buy more to give me a bigger parcel. I haven't had those problems in the past with other companies .
