Thanks for the great summary. The question that I feel remains unanswered, is what does it mean to the average punter to have quantum processing capability on their mobile device or otherwise in their possession? eg. If I have multi core tech it means it runs faster and better supports multitasking, if I have a dedicated GPU I might get real time raytracing or other fancy improvements. These things I can sell. I get that this is totally different. However what marketable function that is applicable not just to a few scientists or military people, but to the everyday person, will be provided by this tech? For now it seems that just as much effort, intellect and innovation is required in the software development side in order to realise the potential of this hardware. Only then can a real value be placed on what archer is doing.
Really appreciate any ideas and thoughts on this because it's quite possible that I have missed a chapter somewhere. The future is certainly exciting. Good luck all.
