I do agree with their view that this is a 5 yr hold. There are some who would approach this as a highly speculative hold and be happy to not delve into the actual work AXE does too deeply. Fair enough.
For me, AXE is positioned not just as a company that is developing the 12CQ and a bio chip. AXE is also a player in the nanotechnology sector which I personally see as taking over from the semiconductor industry. For now, AXE is focusing on bringing the power of nanoscale to the silicon semiconductor world. And this is where near term commercialization pathways present themselves. The bio chip is again the development of a nano transistor, which is the technology that all hope will take us beyond semiconductor moore's law limits. I recognise that the commercial world out there hasn't caught up with nano technology yet. It's an exciting long term hold for me.
All in my opinion.
