Is it too early to describe Archer's quantum sensor as an additional string to their bow?
Based on that article, I'm declaring it is.
Apart from the particular requirement to be used with the 1-2-C-Q, it might be developed as a stand-alone product for the multiple purposes mentioned in the article; for example, ultra-precise navigation systems that could help shipping, aviation, and autonomous vehicles by lowering accidents and increasing efficiency, etc. including as a platform for the development of 'other' quantum computers!
Now that the technology has been made public, there might be interest from many players needing a cutting-edge tech.
Thus, we currently provide three product lines:
- Sensor chip/microsystem
- 1-2-C-Q chip
- biochip
Nevertheless, Archer has created a solid grounding of hardware materials, and new things ought to come from it. We should see plenty of news flow and a SP re-rate from here.
