    I think you're right @Geeris.

It appears that AXE is not a typical 'fabless' fit, they maybe refining it.

Collaborations with like-minded nations are likely to become the new standard in a post-CV world where supply chains have been disrupted and resilience is the rule of the day. Although Archer presents itself as operating under the fabless commercialisation model—that is, creating and developing hardware materials rather than owning the factories necessary to fabricate (fab) them—it may be redefining the next paradigm for quantum companies to operate in. By partnering up with others, Archer still retains part ownership of the intellectual property (IP) and then sells the rights to third parties for commercialisation. As a publicity listed company, it can do this more easily because it has the ability to further fund and therefore maintain development.

In other words, they are not just at the forefront of technology but also at the forefront of how semiconductor firms will function in the future. The proof will come from other quantum companies if they can't find investors or start to lose funding for no other reason than that they lack the "flexibility" to react and pivot fast enough. Archer doesn't have that problem. It can pick and choose who to partner with based on its requirements to get to particular desired result.

To my mind, Mo's recent podcast was a plea for assistance. If the government of "Australia" doesn't figure out how to help, the global sharks that are circling will swallow Archer up. I think Mo was really laying down the gauntlet to the Australian Government because he knows how serious things are and that if technology in Australia keeps advancing, employment and "royalties" will come. After all, Australia has a national quantum strategy but we maybe now at a crossroad, and this is what 'keeps him awake at night'.

Setting aside our egos is necessary if we want to seize the moment.

    All IMO, DYOR, GLTA(patient)H
