Yes I agree, the SP will only be turned around by commercial progress. Alliances sound great, but unless it means actual assistance in progressing the commercialisation, or supporting advancements or sales in some way by integration into other new or existing systems, then it's just a nice fluff piece. It is possible that Archer are wanting to protect their IP and joining an alliance might in some way compromise their IP.
Probably more realistically, they have joined the AQA but their logo is just not (yet) on the website?
