I have to say that IF Simon is doing the CEO job as well, then we are back to when Mohammad Choucair was CEO. Except at that stage AXE was not as advanced and had not achieved a breakthrough with the carbon nanomaterial. It was Simon who came in, saw a way to redesign how electrodes around the carbon electrons were placed. He engaged with Queen Mary's new purpose built labs which speeded up R&D significantly. We saved some time that was lost. The breakthrough enabled AXE to quickly see some use cases in the near term. Which then gave the board enough reason to part ways with Mo.
And there's the biochip development. While there is shared R&D between 12CQ/TMR and gFET bio sensors, is Simon doing all the partnership and customer searches for the biochip as well as the TMRs? Is he pitching the products as well overseeing the R&D? Could this slow things down again. My original view of Mo was that even he was stretched between two products and I could not see how he could effectively do that even back then when things were not getting closer to market.
