The 'right person' IMO has to be someone who will let Simon get on with things and not stick their oar in.
Someone who doesn't bring their semiconductor experience into the equation and cause a split in how to approach commercialisation. This holds more for the quantum side than the biochip side. Biochip steps to market involve tried and tested paths with established industry practices and players. A mature industry that has developed ways to onboard advances in tech.
With the quantum part of AXE, it's AXE that writes the script all the way. Starting with the quantum nanomaterial engineering and ending with both niche sensor applications as well as disruptive breakthroughs in semiconductors. Simon has shown he has a handle on it. A good problem solver at the engineering level. How the 12CQ and quantum capability gets marketed needs some skill in telling the right story. Anyone involved in business knows that without a story there's no engagement with investors and customers. Mo had a few lines about how there are no quick solutions, we can't do this alone. Now the narrative can change based on where AXE now is. There have been some solutions, there are use cases and this is just the beginning. We should be trading a lot higher now. I believe AXE even addressed the SP , banking on all their announcements bolstering confidence and SP. Maybe time to stop relying on technical updates alone. There is a reason to address SP, as many have stated. As we talk to potential customers, the development will get more focused and will need significant dollars. Semiconductor industry is very expensive to participate in.
