Morning @Geeris, I think you have touched on a couple of points this morning that were being made about the CEO position, I was always comfortable where we were at, as an early stage developement Company you dont need to fill every position just because its there, I couldnt see Simon coming into work and peering down a microscope all day every day, I felt that he could carry out the duties of a CEO and had plenty of time to associate with those that mattered in the industry. AXE is target specific in its quest for success and that small percentage of the industry that they work within already know what AXE are about. I dont think AXE need to stand on every street corner and spruik their wares, nor do they need to appeal to mum and dad investors ( because quite honestly if I was sifting thru the 2000 listed Companies on the ASX and came across the sentence that contained the word nano onions I would be moving on) AXE is aiming for the upper echelon of a new frontier and the value of AXE will be decided by the market and determined by their success. The recent announcement by AXE demonstrated to me that they are progressing well without a CEO and as @chingy noted there is a monetary saving to be had, which, whilst is not paramount, it is good to see that we do not have Company heavy with Board members that are the bugbear of many investors throughout the ASX, thats not to say we wont need a CEO soon, and we certainly will but at this point in time I agree with @hong kong phooey that while they have the time they could be waiting for the best possible candidate to emerge. I think that the AXE story is still unfolding
Anyway all IMO of course and I always find your posts enlightening
    Cheers
