I agree, I was mostly thinking out loud to be honest. Situations like what happened with Gamestop, did algos help perpetuate the situation because of the data from human traffic, can they help create bubbles, they can certainly filter shares without creating movement, but can we manipulate them as a collective? The likes of ChatGTP is only useful to calculate and spit out whatever info it can find online, it doesn't need to be accurate. Keith Gill probably would have gone to jail if he had sold high but using algos is fine, so yeah, it will never be an even playing field
