The most impressive thing about WOW apart from the eps growth over many years is that senior management is mostly organically grown. They have hired the right people in the top jobs, including Corbett and Luscombe from within, and because both of these guys knew the organisation inside out from first hand experience they have stayed true to the brand and culture whilst also continuing to stay ahead of competitors.
I have serious doubts about whether Coles can regain any market share under the Wesfarmers banner (Bunnings, Commodities, insurance etc is a whole different game to the Fresh Food one).
Time will tell...
