I tend to not agree. Sister in law is in 50's, runs and jobs 10km most days, just had surfing lessons and kayaks all the times, lifts weights, etc. My brother does same.
I'm not 50 yet but I can jog/walk 5km most days and lift weights all the time. Trying to manage two properties at present.
Cousin in 50's still jogs walks most mornings for an hour and runs a property, also still rides her horses. Her other two neighbours in their 50's ride as well.
Friend overseas is 92 was asked to give lecture by doctors on living well. She does water aerobics 2x a week and still lifts small weights, does tai chi and swears like a trouper.
