It was a very polite post and for that I thank you and disagreeing with me is a good thing, but I don't grasp the point you are making. Please forgive me I'm a bit thick, so if you could unpack your point a bit more I would be grateful.
Now I'm not sure that any place is more holy than another, but Israel has been deeply significant for the 5 Judaic religions that we know of, plus Islam and the Baha'i Faith. That's 7 of the 9 major religions that we know of.
It is also in the general area which gave birth to modern agriculture and animal husbandry, the city state and political and social systems we have greatly expanded upon today.
So Holy Land or not, there is no other place on earth that can lay claim to such foundational patterns of thought and social organisation.
