One could just as easily ask why there was such sharp rise in the share price in the preceding months.
The problem - when an enterprise doesn't generate revenue and record profits and is a net consumer of capital - is that it is difficult for the market to apply any sort of conventional valuation framework to such an enterprise.
And the absence of a conventional valuation framework explains why the share price of a company like MSB tends to be volatile, getting whipsawed up and down in line with the changing mood of the market.
