With a battery on 240Mw Lake Bonney, IFN will sell every volt it generates at overall better prices across its entire operation. This may seem a big claim for a 25MW/52MWh battery, but even a small unit swings that many zero $ volts to peak prices. If IFN sells more power at higher prices to lifts revenues 10% +$20m - and why wouldn't it - final earnings go up in lockstep.
I hope Cherry Tree is being renegotiated to permit very tall towers to generate more power more consistently. The Vic govt needs wind announcements before November.
