The idea I was trying to convey is the similarities between the two. The original Redeemer was the Buddha, by 500 years. Jesus was the redeemer for the people of the Levant and his teachings were closely aligned with the Buddha. Most people's perspective of Christanity today is governed by the decisions made in the Nicaea councils.
