They take the offer off the table and no one else stumps up? SP drops and 'possibly' someone else comes in with an offer lower than the current?

I don't agree with the offer price either, but looking at how MEL has been treated I don't see it as a bad move taking everything in to consideration.

If there is still belief in the UK and what potential there is there then back the merged iGas/DTE entity and ride that through. iGas has been gaining a bit of momentum over the last few days and once they are established they are surely a takeover target as AOE once was.
