Management dont give a F.
I emailed them about a bug that i noticed more than a month ago. Still hasnt been fixed.
When you open an individual stock, lets say for example the "Bid" is 35.5c
If you press the "BUY" button, theres a new toolbar that appears on the top, and it will show the "Bid" as 36c (even though the bid is 35.5c) - it rounds up to the nearest number.
It happens on all stocks.
But anyway, forget about that, the app keeps CRASHING ALL THE TIME. Whenever im trying to buy something (when i go to enter the unit price), the entire app freezes (looks like a bug with Samsung Keyboard - i am using a Samsung S10).
Sometimes i need to kill the app and re-open 3-4 times before i can successfully place an order (not over exaggerating) - i am using the stock samsung keyboard - so it must be happening to all samsung users (freezes when you try to type the price / as soon as the keyboard pops up).
Thats a major issue that needs to be fixed. A complete nightmare for traders
I still like the company, but they need to focus all their energy into the app - i cant believe they havent released any bug fixes already
Other than that, things that i dont like about the new app:
- Market depth: harder to read and understand (old app market depth is way better and clear)
Might be something to do with the font and text size / positioning of data (The numbers are not aligned correctly - sometimes i need to count how many numbers to work out whether its 10,000 or 100,000)
- Watchlist: harder to read and understand (old app watch list much better and clear)
Everything else is fine on the new app - users can get used to some changes and new look
