It would be like having 35 little cdt builders running around trying to build a house. Im sure cdt/ctd/troopy would argue that it would be cheaper to hire 35-60 builders than run the hx. Haha his sheer stupidity makes me laugh out loud, lol.

I just wish that fbr was more transparent around quantifying the benefits. More numbers like what would the thermal efficiency saving be per year from the average home vs mortar construction? What is the exact increase in strength of the structure vs mortar construction? All questions I’m sure will be answered down the track... all my opinions only. Not financial advice. Do your own research.

Doesn’t work like that, we pay per brick, not per person, doesn’t matter if there’s 6 brickies or 60 brickies on site.

Just fyi though, I have had 12 brickies on one job, basic job, 9000 bricks, finished in under 2 days, sills, everything, the 2 guys in charge pay their 8 plus 2 labourers per day/week, it cost me $11,750 including extras. Ask any builder/supervisor and they will tell you they’ve done the same at times.

We pay per brick, not for time.
