why would the hx only be used for, as you say it “cookie cutter low cost housing”. The pivacs have said on multiple occasions that the hx builds a stronger house with better thermal properties. Why would the owner of a luxury home not want a house that is stronger and better at regulating temperature? Think about it. If that’s the basis for your objection to hx then wow.

you are getting caught up by the notion that a hx built home is inferior to brick and mortar homes. based on what fbr have been saying, your comments are not supported by the evidence.

you also get caught up on the idea that hx is not cheaper than timber construction. Why are you comparing a brick built house to a timber built house? They are totally different houses and markets.
