Shorten is on the right of the Labor Party contrary to the bulldust sprouted here. That places him close to the centre of politics. Albanese is in the left faction and I find it strange at how the right wingers seem to back Albo over Shorten. They are probably disingenuous. Shorten is more pro business than anyone on the left. So if former Liberal voters are unhappy with the coalition they are more likely to vote Labor with someone from the Labor right in the top job than someone from the left factions. Swing voters are thinkers and astute and would realise the foregoing.
