Those posters who have dismissed the person behind the Martin Place siege as just a nutter no different to Milat are incorrect...
Fact 1. Monis was politically motivated and was after media attention to his cause, Milat killed for pleasure. Two totally different motives.
Fact 2. Nobody told Milat to kill, whereas IS released videos asking for western Jihadis to kill in the west for a political statement, which is exactly what Monis did.
How do the posters reconcile the fact that maybe not in Australia there are hundreds of Jihadi fatal attacks yearly, is there really a mental illness epidemic among the world Muslim population, or is there something else going on?
