I don't know about other states bundyau but up here in north Queensland the road/rail funding is going to be used to improve safety at level crossings. The spate of accidents at these crossings recently has been tragic. Hopefully some crossings can be turned into overpasses and eliminated and the rest have lights and/or boom gates installed as many crossings currently only have a Stop or Give Way sign. Dave R.
