Bundyau, As th PM said today. The libs did nix on infrastructure in 12 years and they now expect all those things to have evolved under labor in 12mths. Also big ticket long term issues are happening some like you say should have occurred normally but under the previous governmment didnt. The Premier of western Australia is certainly happy with money for the Ord River scheme expansion andbusiness and community leaders are praising the initiatives on infrastructure. All the neglect of the past Bunmdyau federal and state cant be fixed overnight. but by the looks of things due to the global crises Rudd is certainly on fast track at the moment. And the Opposition is saying its too much. All they seem to talk about is tax cuts for the rich. Libs at the moment have got no idea and I think Costello just might come back, as the lib backbenchers are probably panicking and are begging him to take over the leadership.
