Being racist is flying the Australian flag on every home here or in the US their flag or elsewhere.
It is a none too subtle way of saying, "we are so much better than the rest of you", "we are superior to the rest of you", "we can be proud of ourselves and you should be ashamed of youselves".
Why do we need to see a race or nation or religious group etc, as needing to outwardly proclaim some form of "pride".
OK, we had gay pride marches etc, and I can more understand minority or oppressed groups trying to gain status with the rest, but surely humility is a greater virtue than arrogance.
