"What value does a child have or life in general to an atheist."

I believe (note I cant speck for all non-stamp collectors)that we have one life and it is finite. All that is important that I can achieve I must do in this instant that we get. What value do I place on that?? - the highest value.

On the other hand what value would I put on this life if I believe it just the briefest moment before my real eternal life after death - I submit that I will put very little stock in this life at all - and rightly so.
