    Announcement from 6 May:

    HOMEX - Brisbane

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    Quadtel Limited (ASX & CDNX: QTL) today announced that it has confirmed an agreement with world market leader Motorola to supply cable modems and product support services to subscribers of Australia's largest cable Internet providers.

    "Under the agreement, Quadtel will supply replacement product required by cable Internet customers where they are outside warranty timelines. The agreement now means Quadtel will supply product for all broadband users, whether they be cable modem or DSL subscribers," said Rodney Orrock, Quadtel CEO.

    Motorola is the world leader in cable modems, and has dominated the Australian cable modem market for many years.

    "We are delighted to appoint Quadtel to provide this important support service for customers who require replacement or refurbished cable modems," said Brian Gibbs, ASEAN/ANZ General Manager of Motorola Broadband Communications.

    "Quadtel is a highly regarded distribution organisation with an established proven network and it has all of the required processes in place to effectively service the Motorola customer base."

    The agreement means Quadtel now supplies DSL modems from the world market leader in DSL Alcatel, and cable modems from the world cable modem market leader Motorola.

    Quadtel was initially formed more than two years ago by current Chairman David Ramsay, with a strategy to become the major supplier of all types of broadband CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) in the Asia-Pacific, region.

    "This agreement means that we can now supply the complete Broadband offering and I can report to our investors, our Board and our customer base that our corporate strategy is act only on track - but ahead of time," said Mr Ramsay.
