Imo I would still consider this a reward for 2 reasons Smilez

1. It affords everyone a 1 year extension for payment of conversion at minimum interest of .0005c up front and additional .00125c on conversion.

2. It gives one the opportunity to afford acquiring more total units in the short term ($1000 = 34,482 Vs 50,000 ops)

That's just the way I see it though and I understand the risk, liquidity & spp disadvantages associated.
