Interesting ponderings, and we should all have a walk away price, as you say... however - there are a few variables that impact my decision here - would it just be the sale of the Caley Lode, or are you speculating on all the holdings, potential, etc? What if Toora West adds something substantial? Is Chris indicating he is pleased to be at the end of the SHALLOW drill activity...?
For my take on CC, his 'white whale' has been a porphyry (or multiple)...gold in colour - but the 'Copper prize' may prove to be perfect timing. I don't actually think he is going to walk away to let someone else realise this vision. He picked this area and named the company after it, seemingly with the strong belief the 'whale' was there. I have been a SH long enough to share that belief, and would prefer to consider a sale that included shares in the next 'hunter', if it's not CC and the crew.
Same as you swingingpig, I have a half-full glass, and am happy for it to be filled, to overflowing
IMO, DYOR, and patience will be rewarded - at least with certainty.
