Governments create problems, they dont fix them.
The current energy crisis engulfing the country is caused by government policy. Same as Europe.
Current price caps are out to 2025 and all they will do is kick pricing increases a few years down the track.
40% of W.A energy comes from gas. No way of replacing that quickly unlike 5% in the eastern states.
The market is often slow to react and we arent far from production.
