If the resource belongs to Australia, why do you hold shares in this.

We (thankfully) do not live in a communist society (despite Labor's push to tax us, and treat us that way, think Voice).

For now, we are democratic and all equal.

If you want the rewards of the resources, you need to own the shares.

I think it is you who is confused. I don't blame you, the Labor government wants to give away everything to those that don't take on any equity risk.
