It was NOT "written by a group of aboriginal activists".

It was plagiarised from a 1975 case LINK before the International Court of Justice involving Morocco and West Sahara and from which came the oft-used aboriginal words "therefrom", "thereto", and "thither". (When was the last time you used the word 'thither'? Or even the first time?)

At https://icj-cij.org/sites/default/files/case-related/61/061-19751016-ADV-01-04-EN.pdfon page 3 you will read that …

Mr.Bayona-Ba-Meya goes on to dismiss the materialistic concept of terra nullius, which led to this dismemberment of Africa following the Berlin Conference of1885.

Mr.Bayona-Ba-Meya substitutes for this a spiritual notion: the ancestral tie betweenthe land, or "mother nature", and the man WESTERN SAHARA (SEP. OP.AMMOUN) 86 who was born therefrom, remains attached thereto, and must one dayreturn thither to be united with his ancestors.

This link is the basisof the ownership of the soil, or better, of sovereignty. This amounts to a denial of thevery concept of terra nullius in the sense of a land which is capable of beingappropriated by someone who is not born therefrom.

Now compare the highlighted bits with the Statement from the Heart:

    Notice any similarity?
