I was thinking to make this financial in nature, but I remembered two pieces of advice that my Father gave me that I still use every day.
1. Learn a new word (and its meaning and use) every day, as an extensive vocabulary will carry your far.
2. Champagne tastes on a beer budget. (Live within your means!)
