My recommendation is to have multiple accounts:
Free commsec account for live prices (android widget is great)
Thinkmarkets for buy and hold, low volume (chess sponsored, $8 per trade), no ongoing fees.
Easyequities for small trades (0.1% brokerage) (new low cost broker so Im still trialling how reliable they are but so far so good).
