Commsec is a great platform, no reason to change for ASX shares.
Very expensive for overseas shares but I don't invest in overseas companies directly.

IG are OK but pretty basic with no real research.
They have a demo option exactly like a trading account if you want to try it out.

IB platform is horrendous, don't go anywhere near it.

Not tried any others.
