that line of thinking is total rubbish ..

imagine pizzas without a tomato sauce base???

imagine meat without seasoning .. a good meat does not need seasoning .. if a meat needs seasoning .. watso will pass .

for what it is worth, but watso does not use salt (used for seasoning/taste) in any of his cooking ..

for what it is worth, but in his younger days, watso used to work in a pie factory .. and watso would never eat the free pies that were in the lunch room .. the pasties and vegetarian pies (which watso made ) were good .. the rejects were in the lunch room - and also the rejects sold cheap every friday morning to the public ..

so what is in that meat pie????

Under the current Code, a meat pie must contain a minimum of 25% "meat flesh". Meat flesh includes the skeletal muscle of any slaughtered animal as well as any attached animal rind, fat, connective tissue, nerve, blood and blood vessels. While pretty poor eating, the code still allows this kind of gristle to be labelled as meat...

and you worry about a bit of tomato sauce !!!!!!!!!!!!..

watso used to be into solar cooking a bit .. but these days is into solar assist

try this for a total pie experience ...

frozen pies pre-warmed in the sun .. under the glass lid of a rectangular frypan .. the pies will be the perfect temperature for eating .. and then quickly finished off in the air fryer for some crispyness - and then topped up with tasty tomato sauce (from a 2l bottle ie thge cheapest option) ..
