I went into the Beerwah branch a couple
years ago with my son who was around 9. We had a whole bunch of spare change we were hoping to get swapped into notes. The lady at the teller told us she would not change it as we had no proof he had an account there (I'm step dad so not on his bank profile) the boy was obviously upset. I though F U CBA, we went next door to a BOQ and they were so lovely and changed it immediately, never even asked if we had an account. After that I would never bank with them, I only stick around the HC forum as I loaded up in the covid crash around the high $50's
