On looking back at this announcement it appears to say that the first stage is successfully completed (which we already new i think) and "Phylogica will receive an undisclosed milestone payment to reflect the completion of the first stage of the collaboration with Roche." As yet there is no announcement of any further stages, or further payments. The payment currently under discussion is a final payment for completion of stage 1 trial. Maybe that is why it got caned. This announcement seems to be a fancy wordplay on the fact that stage 1 is complete and as yet nothing further has been agreed regarding next move- which is apparently where we were at yesterday. The only thing this announcement actually does is confirm the END of the first stage. Were still waiting to see if it will go further, but the announcement seems to say this could take months.
