Vu de Monde was great value at around $1000 for 2 for dinner - in fact it was cheap. JR was about $500 and was very very poor value. I judge value from what I get and how long the memory lasts.
I’ve got value places burned into my memory for 10 bucks a meal from 20 years ago - that’s value. Vu de Monde was about 15 years back and I still remember the details- that’s value.
JR - I’d forgotten the next week except for the bitter taste of paying hundreds and getting crap
