QE3 might end up being the catalyst for the next big move, but gold has been trending up from below $50 way before any QE. There have been big and lengthy corrections along the way but the longer term trend is always up.

Why?- Simply because when they came off the gold standard they have always printed in excess of what they could have done under the gold standard and that sure as hell won't stop now, QE or no QE.
The only difference now is they have to print much faster than they have done over the last few decades.
This talk of QE or no QE only contributes to the short term swings in POG. QE or not they are still living beyond their means and continually creating money.

There are many gold stocks that trade according to the moves in the POG.
I doubt we are going to need a higher gold price to see our sp move much higher. ABU sp will be much more about growth in resources at OP this year and next and the transition to producer hopefully followed by further additions to the resource and mine life. I would love to see an MOU on Hyperion for toll treatment near term to kick off cash flow while we wait to see how big OP might get.
