Anyone's guess what the US will do from here. It is looking strong in the face of all the back to back interest rate increases and recession talk but a correction will be normal at some point. Whether it's a major correction or not - we'll only know after the fact. However when you compare the two year charts of the US market and MNB, it's pretty clear that there have been multiple periods when MNB has bucked the trend in the US, sometimes correcting when the US is rallying and sometimes rallying hard while the US is correcting. Sometimes MNB follows the US but the correlation is weak.
MNB had recently been correcting while the US rallied hard over the last 6 weeks so MNB might just as easily rally from here even if the US corrects.
