I based my 2 bits worth on my understanding from working at BHP years ago.
What I know is that there is two types of ore. One what is found around the north west of WA which varies in grade from about 67 to 62% iron is the one that takes less processing than the type that comes from where IRD is proposing. IRD may a high grade of the other type of ore but the process is more consuming. With the likes of BHP, RIO, FMG, Hope Downs, Vale (Brazil) all of the former types.
I say again do not expect miracles.
