"I think the Monday Morning article was highly intelligent, analytical and informative."
There is plenty of stuff out there that is presented in a highly intelligent, analytical and informative way that is worth nothing more than toilet paper.

"This is an ivestment forum for people to air their views (sometime opposing ones) to stimulate discussions and debate."
Agree this is a forum to air views even opposing ones. But the constant ranting from non-holders just saying the same thing that property is going to crash property is going to crash yesterday, today then tomorrow adds nothing. Now if you stated good reasons why a particular area was going down or up then that would be a worth while discussion point - but constantly ranting from a overall market perspective that it all must go down by x% shows little understanding of the investment you are talking about.

"The house market is crashing this year and you expect good citizens to step aside and allow this forum to continue to be a round-the-clock spruiking machine pumping out propaganda and disinformation without challenge."
The crash may or may not come this year (probably not or at least now how you expect it to be). Besides which what are the so called "good citizens" going to do about it? After-all since it is such a forgone conclusion that the crash is coming this year you do not achieve anything by your ranting as it is not going to change what you consider is in-evitable. As for the propaganda and disinformation, well there is just as much coming from both sides.

"It is not a coffee break chat room for like minded folks (from either side) to hijack the forum. We respect freedom of speech."
The majority of the forum hijacking is from the uber bears - you only have to look at where the majority of the posting has come from in the last week. As already stated relentlessly talking the investment down achieves NOTHING. This forum is best utilised in discussing how to get the most out of your property investment, where is the next hotspot, what area are best kept away, helping with a problem - such as a bad tenant etc.

"If you don't like what you see, just ignore it. Some have tried but just can't overcome the temptation to take a pot shot at someone sharing a different opinion."
Yeah some of you guys would love your dooms day views to go unchallenged - not going to happen. Where I and others feel the need we will challenge as property investment is NOT as bad as many of you make it out to be, and it is not a cut and dry 1 view fits all as I said all areas and properties have their own properties which makes them different.

"Don't get worked up, emotional and personal and dismiss anything unnerving or threatening to your comfort zone with a yawn..yawn."
The majority of the ones getting worked up, emotional and personal are the serial posting uber bears - you only have to look at the ones that have been suspended.
