Fully agree Kincilla - pessimism gets you no where. It is always wise to be cautious about any big decision in life, do your own numbers, accept the risks you are willing to take and let things unfold as they will over time. To constantly focus on the negatives achieves nothing. The funny thing is property seems to attract a higher number of negative posters than any other investment.
