No charts etc necessary it is simple logic. Dual income households have become more and more prevalent in modern society as such the total household income after tax has increased. The more after tax funds a household has the more they can and will spend, as such they are more likely to spend more on things like housing to secure the house they want. To say dual incomes have not had an impact on prices would be naive.
