Great intro into Thermal Runaway that applies to LFP and Li cobalt oxide cells , even LFP batteries go into a spectacular thermal runaway when the battery temperature reaches 230c , water will not extinguish , the battery produces its own oxygen and goes up like a roman candle , not a safe place if you are sitting on the battery pack .
