The offer isn't .008c anyway. Its an arbitrary figure based on a vlue on the shares of their own company that they've picked out from thin air. You can't properly evaluate the worth of the offer on current information provided thus far.
In my opinion the bid is a shonk and they never truly expected to attain NWT on the basis of that bid. There doesnt seem to be any major shareholders who hold a meaningful amount in NWT, so one can only assume the purpose of the bid was to create uncertainty from a bitter past director.
Personally I wouldnt worry about the bid. In the end it has no material effect.
